Woo Hoo Media Labs is a film and content production studio in Mumbai, run by Chntan N. Shah. This page explains what information woohoomedialabs.com handles, why, and how you can ask us to delete it. If anything here is unclear, write to chntan.n.shah@gmail.com.
When you use the contact form, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive what you send: usually your name, email address or phone number, your company, and what you've told us about your project.
We use it only to reply to you and to discuss the work. Contact-form submissions are delivered to our inbox through Formspree, a form-handling service. WhatsApp and email messages are handled by those services under their own privacy policies.
The site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, what device and browser they use, and how they arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this, and we have IP anonymisation switched on. We look at this data in aggregate; we don't use it to identify you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site will still work.
The site also remembers in your browser, for the current session only, whether you've already seen the opening intro, so it doesn't replay on every page load. That stays on your device.
Our films are hosted on YouTube and play inside this site. We load them in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and thumbnails come from YouTube's image servers. Once you press play, YouTube may set cookies and collect information under Google's own terms. The YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply to that.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. The only third parties involved are the services that make the site work, named on this page: Google Analytics, YouTube, Formspree, and our website host, Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.
Messages and enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to reply to you and to handle any project that follows, and are then deleted when no longer needed. Analytics data is kept in line with the retention setting on our Google Analytics property.
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email chntan.n.shah@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us how you contacted us (form, WhatsApp or email) so we can find it. We'll confirm once it's done.
Woo Hoo Explainer Lab is the studio's own internal app built on Google APIs. It is used only to upload the studio's own videos to the studio's own YouTube channel and to manage that channel's own playlists.
